Adoption time!
Updated | By Abi Ray
It's that time of the week again, when we encourage animal adoption when considering getting a new addition to your family.
In Animal Antics, we believe wholeheartedly that adopting a pet is the most rewarding action a person can do. Shelters and rescue organizations around Kwazulu Natal are working every day and night to rescue animals from bad situations. Whether it's a case of neglect or abandonment; or even worse, abuse, they are working tirelessly to make sure pets in our province are being cared for, and if NOT, they will do everything in their power to make sure this happens.
Rescue animals just need a second chance at life and only need to be loved and looked after, in return they will be your best friend.
Here are a few faces who are looking for new homes. Please remember that there will be an adoption that varies from shelter to shelter. The will also be a compulsary home check done before you can adopt one if these pets.
1. Sash - Puppy SOS KZN
Sash is an 8 month old Shar Pei cross Terrier. Her owners had no further use for her so she is looking for someone who will love her and give her a permanent home. Despite all of this she is very affectionate and loves lots of cuddles. She has not been exposed to other dogs but as she is still young she will just need to be introduced to them gradually.
Please contact David puppysoskzn@gmail.com or on 0743390405 if you'd like to take Sash home with you!

2. Bunny - 4 Paws & A Tale Rescue
A medium mix breed girl of about 4 months old. She is a typical puppy, playful, curious and full of love, cuddles and cute puppy eyes! She needs a family of her own, as she can only stay in foster care for about 2 more weeks. If you are able to foster (Umkomaas, Scottburgh or Toti areas) or give her a forever home, please contact Nicky on 084 626 5508 or [email protected]
She is available for adoption in the Durban and surrounding areas and South coast down to Margate.
