PHOTOS: Sodwana delivers again

They won a fishing competition at Sodwana that secured them a brand new ski boat.
The Freespool crew enjoyed considerable dorado and sailfish success in winning the awesome first prize.
The team returned to Sodwana last week for another taste of the action on offer at this famous fishing spot.
This time they focused on different fishing methods and ended up catching different species.
Poppers, stickbaits and drop-shot were the preferred techniques and yielded four giant trevally and one tropical amberjack.
All five fish weighed between 20 and 25kg and all were released alive.
You may recall my garrick fishing trip with the FreeSpool team of Mark de la Hey and Brad Arthur last July.
That day we caught seven garrick and two GT off Zinkwazi.
We kept one of the fish for supper and released the rest.

Arthur caught three yellowfin tuna off a kayak in the Ballito area recently, while latest reports suggest good dorado fishing off Umhlanga.
I am hoping to test the dorado rumours soon...
