Micho: 'Black Panther movie gave us extra motivation'
Updated | By Sky Tshabalala
Orlando Pirates Coach Milutin Sredejovic has revealed that his team went to the cinemas to watch the highly rated Black Panther movie for extra motivation ahead of the Soweto derby.
The Buccaneers beat Kaizer Chiefs 3-1 to move up to the second spot on the ABSA premiership standings on saturday.
Coach Micho says a trip to the movies motivated the team.
"On Tuesday we went for a team building and watched the film Black Panther," Sredojevic said.
"It is a historical African film which has been a special injection of inspiration for us to go and prove a point today.
"It has been a dream finish to a week where we took care of everything,” he added.
Sredojevic wants his side to build on the win and shift focus quickly to their upcoming fixtures.
"We need to continue to improve to ensure football does not punch us back in the games against Cape Town City or Golden Arrows," Sredojevic concluded.
The Buccaneers travel to Cape Town next week for a Nedbank Cup Round of 16 clash against the Citizens before going to KZN for an Absa Premiership clash against Princess Magogo Stadium Abafana Bes'thende.
