Logie defeated in Queensland
Durban surfer, Travis Logie, has lost in the third round of the Quiksilver Pro Gold Coast.
Taj Burrow proved too good for Logie in Australia.
Kelly Slater and Mick Fanning also won in the third round.
Slater defeated Tiago Pires, while Fanning beat Dane Reynolds.
Fanning, the defending world champion, has a fourth round date with CJ Hobgood and Gabriel Medina.
Slater will meet Adriano de Souza and Josh Kerr next.
