The Proteas will go in search of their first ever World Cup trophy once again.

Having captained South Africa in two World Cup campaigns, Smith unpacks his predictions for the global showpiece. He discusses Hashim Amla’s role in the squad as a veteran batsman, although the Cobras and Proteas talisman hasn’t played much cricket of late.

Smith also looks at the change in the World Cup format this year – which has moved to a one pool, ten team system. Each team will play the other nine teams once before the competition goes straight into the semi-final stages.
