The Kingfisher Bullet spoon, in Pink and White or Pink and Silver, is doing the trick with one angler landing a lovely 6-kilogram snoek in the early hours of the morning recently.
Umdloti has been going on and off the boil lately with a few grey sharks and one small skate coming out.
Similar reports have come in from Umhlanga with a few shad and the odd small spinner shark in the mix.
We are in for a cool day with a 30% chance of rain in the early morning and becoming cloudy and then partly cloudy in the evening with a high of 21 degrees.
We have SSW winds blowing this morning which will drop over the course of the day and swing to light SEs later. Surfers should keep an eye on their local spots, as there is still some swell around.
