Dolphins go down fighting in Bangalore

The Dolphins lost by 54 runs chasing a mammoth 243 for victory.

Their run chase began very well with Cameron Delport smashing 34 off 9 deliveries, Delport was infuriated with himself after he gave away his wicket, he knew he was key if they were to chase down Chennai's score.

The pitch did very little to assist the bowlers, they were dispatched to every corner on the field, both seamers and spinners from both teams failed to hit their straps on a regular.

The Dolphins do still have a chance to secure a spot in the semifinals, they have to win both their remaining fixtures.

Lance Klusener's men will face the Lahore Lions next, the two sides will meet in Bangalore on Saturday.
