Woman in court for possession of dagga
A 34-year-old woman from northern KZN is expected to appear in the Emanguzi Magistrate's Court today after being charged with the possession of dagga.
Police swooped on a home after receiving a tip-off about drugs in the area.
The woman was found in the house that had been identified.
Officers seized over 6kg of dagga with a street value of about R17 500.
Provincial Commissioner, Mmamonnye Ngobeni says that officers will continue to clamp down on illegal drug activity in KZN.
