Wentworth teen in court for possession of firearm

A 16-year-old Durban boy is expected to appear at the Child Justice Court on Friday for unlawful possession of a firearm.
Police say officers spotted him on Reiger Road in Wentworth while patrolling the area over the weekend.

They say when searching him, they found a gun and three rounds of ammunition on him.

Last Thursday, a man was shot and killed while visiting his mother on that same street.
