An Isipingo Beach mother whose daughter is one the South Africans missing after the Nepal flash floods says her family is gathering their documents, in the hope they will be able to travel there.

They want to help search for Terricia Govender, who's been missing since Wednesday when the muddy torrent devastated the area on the border with Tibet.
The 33-year-old data analyst was inside Gyirong Immigration Office when the building was hit by a surge of water.
Her mother, Linda says it's been difficult to grasp what's been actually going on and what to do next, as they hear that rescue teams cannot even access the area.
“I just want to be able to go to Nepal and be there, because for me, it feels like I’m closer to her. As much as everybody is telling us that we shouldn’t go because there’s nothing we can do, there’s nothing I can do here either, except try and raise awareness. I want to be there. I want Terricia to see us. And then, hopefully, I can bring her home.”
Terricia's grandfather, Krish has made an appeal to the government to intervene and get more information to the families.
"They might be able to give us more information than we’re getting here, where we’re just sitting and relying on hearsay.”
Terricia had been on a spiritual pilgrimage and was expected to arrive back in South Africa this morning.
The other South Africans missing are 66-year-old Vivaganathan Pillay and his 56-year-old wife, Janet, from Ladysmith.
Another Ladysmith elderly couple, 74-year-old Surendranath and 67-year-old Anita, are also unaccounted for.
The sixth missing South African is 43-year-old Barika Ramjee from East London.
The devastating floods have killed at least 547 people.
