'We want the baboons off the farm'
Updated | By Chanelle Lutchman
The family of two children who were recently attacked by a baboon in Richmond have slammed media reports saying they're fine with the animals remaining in the area.
They want the baboons removed from the farm completely.
Reports yesterday said the community and family were happy to have the baboons fenced in their area, as doing so would create jobs and attract tourists.

Family spokesperson Senzo Xaba has dismissed this.
"It's ridiculous our family has not even healed, is still far from healing and now you find people who are going behind our backs and giving false information.
"It is propaganda and it is also misleading as well. We want the baboons out of the farm completely so we can live in peace," he said.
The children, a boy and girl, who had been hurt while playing have since been discharged from hospital.
However, the 6-year-old boy has not yet fully recovered from his injuries.
