We need to forge a unity of purpose as a nation: Ramaphosa

Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa is asking South Africans to unite and tackle the problems we're are facing as a country together.
Addressing delegates at the South African Local Government Association's national conference today - Ramaphosa said it's a difficult time for our young democracy - with our economy not growing, soaring unemployment, and inequality among other issues.

"Our duty - difficult as it may be - is to forge a unity of purpose, a unity of action as a nation - that is authentic and credible. It must also be a unity that's enduring, and advances the people of our country," he said.
