Mundel and Ter Borg had been in the province for the Armed Forces Day.
Ramdin was based on the Bluff. The 3 died trying to rescue the workers from a sewer pit. SANDF spokesperson, Mafi Mgobozi, says the area of the base were the gas leak occurred has since been reopened.
"As it was an accident scene no one was allowed to go in. Details of funeral arrangements for our members who died have not been confirmed yet. We will wait for the family to let us know when they plan to bury their loved ones," he said.
One remaining member is still admitted in hospital but in a stable condition.
