A south coast mother who was reported missing - along with her two children - has returned home but tragedy has struck the family.

Thandeka Msomi, her five-year-old daughter, Minenhle and two-year-old son, Lindani were reported missing when they didn't come back home at the beginning of last month.
Police say the 28-year-old mother, who has apparently been in Johannesburg, returned to her Amandawe home on Tuesday - but with only one child in tow.
Her daughter died during their trip.
"She says she had a problem with a cellphone which was stolen while she was at Durban station. Therefore, she couldn't inform the family. Her five-year-old child ran into oncoming traffic and was knocked down by a car.
"She later died due to her injuries. A case of culpable homicide was opened at Scottburgh for further investigation," spokesperson, Thembeka Mbhele said.
