'Undertakers' in court for coffin drug stash

Two men caught with drugs stashed in a coffin on the N2, are due to appear before a Pongola magistrate today.
Police manning a roadblock in the northern KZN town on Saturday, say they noticed that a vehicle coming towards them had stopped metres away.
The driver then switched the headlights off.
SAPS spokesperson, Jay Naicker says officers approached the vehicle and found two men and a coffin inside.

They said they were undertakers and were transporting a body.
A search was conducted and the police uncovered 30 concealed packs of dagga inside the coffin.
The dagga weighed 80kg.
The suspects were immediately arrested and were detained at the Pongola police station for possession of dagga.
