Umhlathuze Water says it's pleased with the feedback its received from Parliament after it appeared before the Portfolio Commitee for Water and Sanitation this week.
The north coast district supplier's CEO was axed two months ago for alleged maladministration and tender irregularities.
A new board was appointed at the end of last year.
The water supplier's Siyabonga Maphumulo, says they've been trying to redeem their reputation and this week, they had some good news to share in Parliament.
"We have indeed turned the corner and looking ahead means ensuring we deliver bulk water to communities and industries so that we serve as a catalyst for economic development and job creation in the province.
"You will appreciate that water is one of the most important ingredients to ensure that you attract investors and to improve the livelihood of entire communities and bring about dignity were none previously existed," Maphumulo said.
