Truckers condemn disruptive KZN protests

The association has been commenting after truckers took the the streets on Tuesday.
They blocked the N11 and checked other drivers' papers to ensure they are legally allowed to work in the country.

Spokesperson, Siphosihle Muthwa has told Newswatch they were not the ones who instructed truckers to demonstrate along the route."I cannot say that we were part of the protest, but I cannot deny [drivers affiliated to us] were not involved," said Muthwa.

However, he says the association says truckers remain resolute in their demand for work.The meeting was called after more than 20 trucks were torched on the N3 by disgruntled, unemployed truck drivers earlier this year.
