Toddler killed in Durban house fire
Updated | By Shaun Ryan
A Durban family is in shock after a 2-year-old boy was killed in a house fire in Clare Road this morning.
Emergency services recovered the little boy's body earlier this morning from inside one of the rooms of the home.
Rescue Care's Ceron Lennox told Newswatch that family members could not reach the boy because of the high flames within the home.
She says no one else was hurt in the fire.

Firefighters and police search and rescue had to search through rubble to find find the body after the roof and some walls caved in.
"They went through all the rubble and in one of the rooms where a family member had said they'd last seen the child, the child's body was found inside a burnt cupboard. Unfortunately he was declared dead on scene," said Lennox.
