Three women gunned down at Umlazi informal settlement

Police have opened murder cases after three women were killed at an informal settlement in Umlazi, south of Durban.
KwaZulu-Natal police spokesperson Nqobile Gwala says the victims are believed to be sisters.
"They were all declared dead at the scene after they sustained multiple gunshot wounds to the body."

"Two children aged five years and six months old sustained injuries and were rushed to hospital for medical attention.
"Charges of murder and attempted murder have been opened at Bhekithemba SAPS."
The motive is not clear at this stage and the killers are still at large.
