Three injured as vehicle overturns following shooting
Three men have been rushed to hospital in a critical condition after the bread delivery truck they were travelling in was ambushed near Eston.
Officers say gunmen in another vehicle fired shots into the truck on the R603 earlier today.
ER24 spokesperson, Russel Meiring says the men who were in the delivery truck all sustained gunshot wounds.
"ER24 paramedics arrived on scene to find a large truck lying on the side of the road. Two men were found lying outside the vehicle. One was found further up the street. It is believed the man left the scene in an attempt to call for further help.
"Paramedics assessed the three men, all in their 30s, and found that they had sustained several gunshot wounds - leaving them in a serious condition," he says.
Camperdown SAPS are investigating cases of attempted murder.
