Updated | By Jarryd Subroyen
Three field rangers have been arrested for alleged involvement in poaching at the Kruger National Park.
The suspects had been based at Crocodile Bridge.
Authorities swooped in on them yesterday afternoon following a tip-off from local residents.
They were found in possession of rifles, hunting equipment and two-way radios.
SANPARK's Isaac Phaahla says they'll remain in police custody until a court date is set.
"As an organisation, we are very sad when our staff become involved in poaching. However, in investigation was done and informationwas followed. This led to their arrest. They were charged and they will appear in court soon," Phaahla said.
