Suspect killed in Joburg shoot-out

"A suspect who [allegedly] killed the police officer from Hillbrow on Saturday 22 August 2015 was fatally wounded during a shootout with the police in Jeppestown this morning," spokesperson Brigadier Mashadi Selepe said.
"The other suspect was arrested and the police firearm stolen on Saturday was also recovered. Warrant Officer Moses Boipelo Mosekwa, 47-years-old, was killed by the suspects."
At the time police said that Mosekwa was killed and the other officer wounded around 2:10am on Saturday morning in Hillbrow.
An off-duty officer was shot around 8pm on Friday night in Laudium, Atteridgeville and died in hospital three hours later.
Police called for anyone with information about the shootings to come forward.
