Police have been investigating last week's stabbing and robbery inside a lecture hall.

Sandile Ndlovu's cellphone and laptop were taken.

His family has urged witnesses to get in touch with investigators. Berea Saps is investigating a case of attempted murder.

Students who protested outside the Steve Biko campus yesterday asked to be briefed on what happened to Ndlovu.

Thalente Hadebe says they are scared.

"If this can happen to Sandile, it can happen to anyone. Who is next? It could be you, it could be me. During this time we were expecting to see footage, but there is nothing. It is very sad," she said.
