Stage Two load shedding kicks in this morning

Residents and business are being alerted Stage 2 loadshedding gets underway from 9am to 10pm, tonight.

Eskom says the power system remains constrained following a number of plant breakdowns yesterday.
The power utility put into effect load shedding for the first time yesterday - since last year.
It says this time, despite a number of generating units having returned to service - some of their units continue to trip.

Meanwhile, Eskom says its working on lessening the possibility of more power cuts this week.
Chief Operations Officer, Jan Oberholzer says reserves are also low amid all other challenges.
