South Africa's Covid-19 positivity rate hits 30%

The Covid-19 pandemic is showing no signs of slowing down in South Africa.
Three hundred and thirty-three more people, diagnosed with coronavirus, have died.
This brings the number of lives lost since the outbreak to 61 840.

More than 16 500 new infections have been picked in the last 24-hour period, which means the country has now reached a 30.2% positivity rate.
New cases increased by more than 1 100 in KwaZulu-Natal.
#COVID19 UPDATE: A total of 54,879 tests were conducted in the last 24 hrs, with 16,585 new cases, which represents a 30.2% positivity rate.
