14 South Africans are reportedly stuck in Thailand after falling for an alleged job scam.
Their families are pleading for help from the International Relations Department to secure their safe return home.
The group, working as IT specialists in Bangkok, say they're being held against their will.
Speaking to the SABC, retired Interpol ambassador, Andy Mashaile, urged vigilance when accepting overseas job offers.
