Snow enthusiasts urged to avoid trespassing on private property
Updated | By Nushera Soodyal
Snow Report SA says they have been inundated with calls from angry farmers who have complained about snow followers trespassing on their land.

The report's CEO Rob Ansell says farmers say snow chasers in the past have cut and broken fences, left gates opened so their livestock escape and left an abundance of litter after their visits to view the snow.
Ansell urges people in the midst of this weekend's snow warning to please respect private property adding that farmers have a very hard time dealing with the snow, without having complications from people.
"It is a very difficult situation indeed. There are a lot of areas that are public access areas. There are some farmers that open up a field. Please, stay in the public access areas," he said.
"Go to areas where you are not trespassing on private property and enjoy the snow responsibly," Ansell said.
