Slain Clairwood boys laid to rest today
Updated | By Lethiwe Mdluli
The two 10-year-old Clairwood boys who were kidnapped and murdered last week will be laid to rest today.
Three people including a traditional healer have been arrested in connection with the murder of Luyanda Msomi and Njabulo Mankayi. It is alleged that one of the arrested women had previously been in a relationship with one of the victim's father.
Community leader Siya Njokweni says the boys will be buried in two separate towns.
"These are two different families," he said.
"Luyanda's family will hold their funeral in Umzinto. Njabulo's family will hold their funeral at Matatiele, in the Eastern Cape," Njokweni said.
The three suspects are due back in court on Monday.
