SA's COVID-19 cases rise further

There are 38 new coronavirus infections in the country, taking the total number of confirmed cases to 240.
There are three new cases in KZN. One of them is a 26-year-old woman who travelled to the USA and UK. The other two are men aged 59 and 68, whose travel history is pending. The province's tally is now 27.
The Eastern Cape has confirmed its first case - a 28-year-old woman who travelled to Germany.
The Western Cape has 18 new cases, while there are 16 more infections in Gauteng.

More than half of the new patients have recently travelled overseas, while the department is awaiting the travel history for the remaining cases.
The province with the highest number of COVID-19 cases is Gauteng with 125, followed by the Western Cape with 74 and KZN with 27.
The age group with the highest number of confirmed cases is 31-40 with 63 infections, while there are 57 cases in the 51-60 age bracket.
More than half of all confirmed cases are men.
