The Khoi and San last year delivered a memorandum of demands to the commission, wanting access to basic services and land as well as the Constitutionality of indigenous groups.

They say government has neglected them since democracy.

The commission yesterday held the final round of hearings on the matter.

The report will make recommendations should there be any evidence of human rights violations.

Chairperson Dr Danny Titus says the commission intends for the report to reach authorities within Cabinet.

"There are some good things going on around heritage roots, language and recognition. We just want to pull them all together and then we're going to make the report available with its recommendations to Parliament and to the relevant portfolio committees," he said.
