SA records 190 new COVID-19 deaths, 7 232 infections

Another 190 people diagnosed with COVID-19 in South Africa have lost their lives.
Sixty-two of those deaths occurred in KwaZulu-Natal, bringing the total number of fatalities to 7 257.
There’s been a rise of 7 232 new infections in a 24-hour cycle, taking the overall number of cases to over 459 000.

More than 287 000 people have beat the virus.
Over 68 000 cases have been recorded in KwaZulu-Natal to date.

There’ve been 685 deaths and 27 500 recoveries.
