SA readies for World Economic Forum Africa
Updated | By Anelisa Kubheka
Durban will be hosting the World Economic Forum Africa meeting as South Africa readies itself to mark Africa month in May.
President Jacob Zuma believes that this will not only be a platform for the country to promote African culture and economic development, but also provide an opportunity for South Africa to further deepen the country's relations with sister nations on the continent.
Zuma says South Africa continues to be a popular destination for international conferences.
“The summit will bring together a number of heads of states, government, ministers and influential decision makers from all over the world. We look forward to hosting them,” he said.
The economic forum will take place next week at the International Convention Centre in Durban.
