SA official investigated after crash in Norway
A South African diplomat in Norway is under investigation after being involved in an accident.
The official was allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol when he caused a head-on collision in Oslo on Sunday.
The diplomat reportedly sped away from authorities and later declined a breathalyser test.
A passenger in the vehicle also fled the scene.
"The official is co-operating with the investigation and the Embassy is also cooperating with the authorities in relation to the accident," he said.
