SA confirms sixth cholera case

South Africa has recorded its sixth case of cholera form the recent outbreak.

The Health Department says the test results of a 19-year-old woman from Benoni on Gauteng's East Rand came back positive.
She was identified following tracing which covered more than 1 160 people.

The department says the woman had been hospitalised after showing signs and symptoms.
Officials have not yet disclosed if she had travelled anywhere.
A week ago, a 24-year-old man who was from KZN died of cholera in Benoni.
His body was transported here for burial.
