Reservoir Hills water outage ‘to be resolved by Wednesday’
Updated | By Noxolo Miya
A local ward councillor says eThekwini water officials are working around the clock to repair a burst pipe in Reservoir Hills.
The pipe that burst in four locations on Morel Road triggered water supply issues on Friday.
Ward 23 councillor Alicia Kissoon explained that the problem is the result of inadequate pressure control when valves were reopened after repairs.

She says residents will continue to experience interruptions to their supply until Wednesday morning.
"The areas that will be affected are from Riddick Avenue downward to Spencer Road as well as Lower Varsity Drive and connecting roads. This includes all the roads currently affected.
"I have requested that adequate tankers be dispatched for all areas and that the heads of department engage with me on the reasons for the delay and their actions to get this expedited.''
