Ramaphosa sworn in as president of South Africa

Cyril Ramaphosa has officially been sworn in as the President of the country.
He took his oath of office to resounding cheers from the thousands at Loftus Versfeld Stadium in Pretoria who had come out to witness the event.
He pledged allegiance to the Constitution while led by Chief Justice Mogoeng Mogoeng.
Ramphosa was elected as president unopposed and was announced at the National Assembly a few days ago.

This as the country came out of the recent May 8 national elections which saw the ANC victorious once again.
There were deafening cheers of approval from the around 30 000 masses at the venue.
