After being confined to our homes for almost a month now - all eyes and ears will turn to President Cyril Ramaphosa again on Thursday evening.
Ramaphosa is expected to make a special announcement on how the government plans on reopening the economy when the lockdown comes to an end.
That's expected to happen next Thursday.
On Tuesday, President Ramaphosa said that the lockdown restrictions would be phased out gradually to avoid the risk of a COVID-19 resurgence.
South Africa now has 3 635 confirmed cases of the virus - with the death toll climbing to 65.
Meanwhile, DA spokesperson Solly Malatsi says they're proposing a smart lockdown - so that some businesses can start operating again.
"A smart lockdown means a gradual relaxation of some of these regulations. Stating with lifting regulations around the resumption of economic activities done in a manner that is safe and in a manner that will protect lives and livelihoods - by also expanding the size of products that are on the essential goods lists."
We'll know what time the President plans on addressing the nation later today.
