Rain relief in KZN
Updated | By Steve Bhengu
There is good news for drought stricken areas of KwaZulu-Natal.
The South African Weather Service says rain is expected along the eastern and coastal parts of the province from today into the weekend.
Strong south westerly winds have also been forecast.
Western parts of the province can expect some scattered showers.
The weather service's Aslam Sardiuualla says there's also an alert for thunderstorms over the interior.
''Similar forecast going into the weekend over most of the KZN interior on Friday as well as on Saturday with possible thunderstorm activity over the western parts.
''It may reach the coastline, but mostly over the interior,'' he said.
