Preparations for final matric exams on track: Umalusi
Updated | By Newswatch
Exam quality assurer Umalusi says all is on track for the 2021 matric finals.
The National Senior Certificate exams will start on the 27th of October.
They'll once again take place during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Umalusi CEO Mafu Rakometsi says strict measures are in place to ensure all goes to plan.
Last year's exams were marred by the leaking of several exam papers.
"Umalusi continues to implement a risk management-based approach as it's strategy to evaluate the level of preparedness over assessment bodies to conduct the national senior certificate examinations.
"The rationale behind the strategy is to timeously identity the areas with potential risk, which are likely to compromise the delivery of credible examinations."
The last day of matric exams is the 7th of December.
The capturing of marks is expected to completed on December 27.
