POLL: Should Zuma stay or go?
Is Zuma's presidency at stake? This is the question on the minds of many South Africans as the ANC NEC meeting is set to wrap up today.
It has been reported members of the executive committee could not find common ground on holding a secret vote for President Jacob Zuma to step down.
Party spokesperson, Zizi Kodwa said however the meeting is addressing outstanding agenda points for 2016.
Zuma's fitness to hold office has been under scrutiny - more so following the release of the State Capture report.
Amongst other findings, the report found that the President violated the Executive Code of Ethics by using his position to enrich himself and Gupta-owned businesses.
Analyst, Somadoda Fikeni says although this may be a crucial debate - he believes a sudden recall is unlikely. He says the extent of Zuma's executive power may be changed.
