Police treat Klara's death as suicide

“An inquest has been opened. We are still waiting to hear from forensics if there was anything unnatural,” Warrant Officer Balan Muthan said.
The 14-year-old pupil at the Deutsche Internationale Schule Johannesburg fell to her death at Northgate Mall on Tuesday evening. She was still in school uniform.
Her mother Liesl Göttert has raised doubts about whether the death was a suicide.
“We are going to the police this afternoon. We have evidence that could show that she did not commit suicide. I can’t give more information right now,” the Centurion Record quoted Göttert as saying on Wednesday.
Muthan said the post mortem, including the results of toxicology tests, could still take a while.
