Police search team recovers man's body in KwaMakhutha river

The body of a 25-year-old man who drowned in the Zimbokodweni River in KwaMakhutha has been found.
The man - who is said to have been mentally-ill - is understood to have run into the river on Sunday while herding cattle.
Search and rescue teams that had been working for three days to find him, pulled his body from the river late yesterday.
Police spokesperson, Thembeka Mbhele says an inquest docket has been opened.
"The victim was reported to have drowned late on Sunday and a search in the area on Sunday and again on Monday began. The K9 Search and Rescue, police divers as well as Metro Police [worked] until yesterday where they found the body," Mbhele said.
