Police search intensifies for suspects in Hammarsdale massacre

The Community Safety Department says police are working tirelessly to track down the suspects involved in the fatal shooting of six people in Hammarsdale, West of Durban.
The six people, who are thought to have been from the same family, were gunned down in their Georgedale home at the weekend.
Police are searching for five suspects that they believe were behind the murders on Friday evening. The motive for the killings is not known at this stage - but detectives found Whoonga on the scene.

It has been confirmed that there was a pending drug case against one of the victims. In a statement, the Community Safety Department says those who died were aged between.
The seventh person who survived the shootings remains in hospital.
