Police recover two bodies in KwaMashu

A police probe is underway following the discovery of two bodies in KwaMashu, niorth of Durban over the weekend.
The bodies were found by local community members on Saturday afternoon.
Reports from the scene suggest they had been found just a few metres apart.

SAPS spokesperson, Thulani Zwane says the motive for the killings is not known at this stage.
"Members of the police were called to attend to a double murder reported in KwaMashu," confirmed Zwane.
"It is alleged that they were found with gunshot wounds on their bodies. Therefore, two counts of murder were opened for further investigation."

"We are appealing to anyone who might have information about the suspects to come forward," he continued.
