PICS: Cycling central to Go! Durban project
Updated | By Chanelle Lutchman
eThekwini Municipality has launched Go! Durban which hopes to lessen the need for vehicles on the roads by creating a more eco-friendly and sustainable transport solution.
Speaker, Logie Naidoo, says the project to be completed by 2030 will inculcate a culture of cycling throughout the city.
He says eight dedicated sites in townships and in the city centre have been earmarked for this purpose.

"We welcome this project because this will help in being able to move from point A to point B, reduce carbon footprint and lessen our reliance on motor vehicles. At the same time, keeping our people fit, healthy and strong. Cycling is the best form of exercise," he said.
