Parents find son's heartbreaking goodbye note

The parents of a six-year-old American boy who died from a brain infection have found a heartfelt letter he wrote before his death.
The father and mother of Leland Shoemake found a hand written note in their home in Georgia after their son passed away in an Atlanta children's hospital.
On Facebook, Leland's mother Amber explains he contracted a deadly amoebic infection, Balamuthia mandrillaris.
"The one thing he loved most was playing in the dirt. I never imagined that would be the thing that would take him from me. He was my world. He made me a mother," she posted.
She shared the letter on the page, Prayers for Leland with the caption: 'We have no idea when he wrote it but you can tell he was always a special child."
