Operation Fiela II launched in Durban

KZN police have launched Operation Fiela 2 in Durban.
Hundreds of officers from all over the province will target crime hot spots as part of the operation.
The men and women in blue who are part of Operation Fiela Two come from various districts in the province.

They will operate in four zones which include eThekwini and surrounding areas as well as the Ugu and Harry Gwala districts.
The crime-fighting operation was officially launched at the old Durban drive-in earlier.
The officers are now in Umlazi township - conducting some roadblocks and possible stop and searches.
Meanwhile, the first phase of the crime operation was launched in 2015 to target perpetrators in attacks against immigrants.
