One killed in Midlands crash

One person has been killed and four others hurt in a single
vehicle crash on the Edendale Road in the vicinity of Henley dam, outside Pietermaritzburg.
The vehicle they had been travelling in rolled several times.

Emergency services say the car was found off the road with significant structural damage.
Midlands EMS says one man was declared dead at the scene due to the extensive injuries he had sustained.
Four other people sustained minor injuries and were stabilised on scene before being taken to various hospitals in Pietermaritzburg.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash.
