Obama pays tribute to teen hero
Updated | By ECR Newswatch
The President of the United States has praised a 15-year-old boy who was killed after he shielded three girls in a shooting in Tennessee.
Zaevion Dobson was killed on Thursday night when three male suspects opened fire on a crowd in Knoxville.
A vigil has been held to remember the teen, while the Mayor Madeline Rogero says Dobson - who was a mentor to his peers - was adored by teachers and students.
His football coach, Rob Black, said that the youngster was " fine young man who is a success story."
While President Obama has taken to Twitter to pay tribute to Dobson's courageous act, police say one of the suspects died from a gunshot wound while two others have since been arrested.
