No end in sight to load shedding as Eskom sounds winter warning
Updated | By Newswatch
Eskom says stage 2 load shedding will again be implemented on Tuesday evening.
The power cuts will begin from 5pm and continue until 10pm.
The utility's spokesperson Sikonathi Mantshantsha warned that more intense blackouts could become a reality should more units break downs at power stations during the day.
"The onset of winter has seen increased demand and this will lead to severe capacity constraints throughout this period, particularly during the evening and morning peaks."

"Since yesterday evening, a unit each at Arnot, Grootvlei and Matla power stations either tripped or were taken offline for repairs. At the same time, two units were returned to service; one each at Kriel and Grootvlei power stations."
